Canyoning Inachos
One of the most beautiful and largest canyons of the Peloponnese.
Canyoning in Inachos is a very beautiful and great experience that is available for families and large groups.
Activity
This canyoning activity (Canyoning Inachos ) takes place near the town that has the same name as the canyon, which is located at Mount Artemisio of the Peloponnese.
The canyon has water for several months of the year and has many descents since it is one of the largest in the Peloponnese.
The activity begins with the meeting of the group near the canyon where the accompanying instructors of the activity hand over all the required equipment to each participant.
After a short training, the team’s descent and entry into the canyon begins.
Small descents await us during the first leg of the canyon which is also the available program.
The gorge is divided into 4 sections which are available for almost all months of the year (except during periods when we have heavy rains)
The BASIC program available is for the descent of the first leg.
Anyone wishing to experience a more demanding program can request the availability of the 1+2 sections from our company.
Or ask for the ultimate experience by crossing the entire canyon and see a real canyoning experience with waterfalls of up to 32 meters!!!
The gorge during the season with water has jumps and slides in crystal clear water.
The canyon of Inachos is located in Artemisio oros, it is narrow at the beginning and then opens up with imposing and beautiful rocks.
Activity PointÂ
In ancient Greek mythology Inachos was the first king of Argos, who gave his name to the homonymous river Inachos that waters the western part of the Argolic plain.
The gorge is located on the border of Argolis and Arcadia.
To get to the entrance point of the gorge, it will take 80′ from the center of Athens or 45′ from Corinth.

It was indeed a very beautiful activity. The temperature of the water was chilling enough to make us think twice prior entering a puddle full of water but the canyoning equipment provided to us, actually maintained our body temperature to some pretty normal levels. Overall it was a worth doing activity
