The Area
Mainalo, one of the most majestic mountains in the Peloponnese, is located in the heart of Arcadia and combines rich natural beauty with deep history. Its name comes from ancient times, as Mainalo was dedicated to the god Pan, the god of forests and wild nature.

The area surrounding Mainalo holds great historical significance, being a focal point during the Greek Revolution of 1821. Villages such as Dimitsana and Stemnitsa played key roles in the resistance, and visitors can still see buildings and locations of historical importance.

Mainalo is renowned for its vast fir forest that covers its slopes, offering endless hiking trails and unexplored paths. With an elevation reaching 1,981 meters, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views, while the autumnal colors of the trees are truly mesmerizing.

On the slopes of the mountain, picturesque villages such as Alonistaina and Vytina offer an authentic experience of mountainous Greece, with traditional architecture, warm hospitality, and local products.

Health and Safety
To participate in the activity, you must be in good health and free from cardiovascular issues or other underlying conditions, and not be using any medication.
