Hiking Vouraikos Canyon

Hiking in the Vouraikos gorge acrobating the lines of Odontotos.
A beautiful route for Sunday, January 29, starting on Sunday morning from the center of Athens with destination Diakopto.

There we will start our ascent on one of the most beautiful hiking ‘trails’ that we can walk in Greece.
The path that starts from Diakopto and has its final destination in Kalavryta uses the train tracks to reach the historic city.

The entire route is dominated by landscapes of wild nature, unrestrained waterfalls,
rocks sculpted by the rushing waters that have taken forms that the mind cannot imagine and awesome aerial bridges.
All these make up a unique natural setting and will make the excursion unforgettable.

The route we chose starts from Niamata with destination Zachlorou which is 15 km and is the most beautiful part of the route.
At the end of the route we will visit the Monastery of the Great Cave and then we will go to the small village of Zachloros for lunch.
Upon completion of the activity we will return to Athens
