Our hiking route starts from the traditional village of Karya, located on the borders of Argolis and Arcadia. During the ascent, we will follow the scenic trail of Htenia, with the summit of Artemisio towering in the distance.

  1. Ascent from Karya to Malevos Summit:
Our route begins in Karya, following a beautifully marked trail through fir-filled landscapes with views toward the Argolic Gulf. The trail gradually leads us to the ridge of the mountain, known as Htenia, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and plains.

Hiking time: Approximately 3-4 hours to the summit.
Elevation gain: Around 900 meters.
Difficulty: Moderate, with some technical sections near the summit.
The Malevos summit is renowned for its impressive, conical shape and the panoramic views it offers over the Peloponnese, making it an ideal hiking destination in May.
