• You must not suffer from cardiovascular, respiratory, or balance-related issues.

• If you are currently on medication or undergoing treatment, please consult your doctor before participating.

• Completing our Participation Form is mandatory. It includes emergency contact details and confirmation that you accept our terms and safety protocols.

• Submission of the form implies that you fully understand and agree to our participation rules.

⚠️ Activity Conditions & Modifications

• Outdoor activities are subject to weather conditions. In case of rain, storms, or other safety concerns, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the activity.

• We may also adjust the meeting point or start time depending on local conditions.

Participants are expected to follow all instructions by guides at all times. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the activity for the safety of the group.

To fully enjoy your canyoning adventure at Fakistra, please come prepared with the following personal items:

• 👙 Swimsuit (worn underneath your clothes)

• 👟 Sports shoes suitable for wet terrain (closed-toe, with good grip)

• 🧦 Extra pair of dry shoes or sandals for after the activity

• 🧴 Towel and a change of dry clothes

• 🍫 Snack or energy bar to keep your energy up

• 💧 Water bottle (at least 1 liter)

• 🌞 Sunscreen and sunglasses with strap (optional)

Please avoid wearing jewelry, valuables, or cotton clothing. Quick-dry materials are highly recommended.

Note: Transportation is not included in this activity. Participants must arrive at the meeting point in Tsagkarada on their own.

By participating in any activity organized by BOA Base Outdoor Activities, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

Outdoor activities, including canyoning, involve inherent risks, such as falls, slips, exposure to natural elements, and equipment use. While we take every safety precaution, you voluntarily assume all risks by participating.

2. Health and Physical Condition

Participants must be in good physical health and free from any medical condition (such as cardiovascular issues or respiratory problems) that could affect their ability to participate. You are responsible for informing us of any health concerns in advance.

3. Following Instructions

You must comply with all instructions from guides and staff at all times. Disregarding safety rules may result in removal from the activity for your own and others’ protection.

4. Liability Waiver

By joining, you waive any legal right to file claims against BOA Base Outdoor Activities, its guides, or partners, except in cases of proven gross negligence or misconduct.

5. Insurance Coverage

Optional accident insurance is available upon request. Participants are encouraged to have personal travel or activity insurance where applicable.

6. Equipment Use

All equipment must be used as instructed. Any damage caused by misuse or negligence may result in additional charges.

7. Changes or Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the activity due to weather, safety, or logistics. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund, in accordance with our policy.

At BOA Base Outdoor Activities, we aim to offer flexibility while ensuring the smooth operation of our programs. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

🧍 For Individual Bookings (up to 4 participants):

• Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 96 hours (4 days) before the activity

• 50% Refund: Cancellations made 72 to 96 hours before the activity

• No Refund: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled activity

👥 For Group Bookings (more than 4 participants):

• Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance

• No Refund: Cancellations made within 30 days of the activity date

🌦 Company Cancellations / Weather Conditions:

If BOA Base Outdoor Activities cancels an activity due to weather, safety issues, or force majeure, we offer:

• A rescheduled activity, subject to availability

• Or a 100% refund

⚠️ Minimum Participation Requirement:

If the minimum number of participants (5) is not reached, you will be notified in advance and offered:

• A rescheduled date, or

• A full refund

💳 Refund Details:

• Refunds are processed promptly, minus any bank transfer or processing fees

• BOA is not responsible for transaction charges by your bank or payment provider

We recommend notifying us as soon as possible of any booking changes, so we can accommodate your needs efficiently.

📍 Meeting Point

The starting point for the Canyoning Fakistra adventure is the village of Tsagkarada, located on the eastern slopes of Mount Pelion.
Exact meeting location and time will be confirmed via email after booking.

• Access: Easily reachable by car from Volos or nearby villages

• Parking: Free public parking available near the meeting point

🚗 Transportation Options

Transportation is not included in the activity. Participants are responsible for arriving at the meeting point on time. If you need assistance organizing transport (e.g. private transfer, taxi service), we’re happy to connect you with local providers upon request.

⏰ Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow time for equipment fitting and safety briefing.
