TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The content and infrastructure of these pages, as well as the online booking service (including the facilitation of payment service), provided by B.O.A. on the present pages and through our website are owned, operated and offered by Base Outdoor Activities Hellas and they are available only for personal, non-commercial use under the terms and conditions set forth below.
The following terms are used within a specific framework given below unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The present terms ”we,” ”us,” and ”our” are used to refer to B.O.A. – Base Outdoor Activities Hellas, an individual company that is subject to the Greek Legislation/or Laws while having its registered address at Paparigopoulos Street, 47, Agia Paraskevi, 15343, Attica, Greece.
Hereinafter to be referred to as: B.O.A.
The term ”Website” (for mobile devices) is made available owned, managed, controlled, maintained and/or hosted by B.O.A.
The term “ACTIVITY” refers to the various travel products and services that can be ordered, acquired, bought, paid, rent, closed, combined, or consummated by you from a trusted provider.
The term “Provider” refers to the user and the manager of the present terms and conditions and Activities supplier.
“Customers” are the travelers who are interested in booking a tour.
The term “Agreement” refers to the provision of services and products.
Scope and Nature of Our Service
Through B.O.A.’s website, we can advertise, promote, sell and/or provide our products and services for order, reservation, and purchase or hire through which visitors can search, discover, compare and make an order, purchase, or payment.
Pricing, Crossed-Out Prices & Price Match Guarantee
Payments – Credit card or Bank transfer
Τhe prices on our Website, as provided, are notably competitive. All listed prices for your ACTIVITIES are displayed without including VAT but all the rest of the taxes are included.
Activities prices are per person or group and also subject to the validity or expiration date as stated on the ticket, if applicable. Current fees and taxes may be charged by the provider in case of a no-show or cancellation.
Sometimes lower prices are offered on our Website for specific Activities or Services, due to some packages at a discount.
We would like you to pay the lowest price possible for the product or service of your choice.
Any obvious mistakes (including typos) are not binding. All offers and promotions are identified as such. If they are not labelled as such, Customer cannot derive any rights obligations in case of obvious mistakes.
The reservation is to be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit 30% of the total requested amount of the reservation and which cannot be less than the value as specified in each activity.
In case of cancellation or changes made up to 30 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled 1-21 days prior to the anticipated date of arrival or modified later, 30% of the total price of the reservation will be charged
Ιn case of no-show, 100% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
In case of cancellations during your stay, you will be charged with 50% of the remaining days you booked as cancellation fee.
If an activity is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions or other phenomena, the full amount of the deposit will be immediately refunded although in such cases the transport costs are not included.
If a credit card fraud case occurs or unauthorized use of your credit card by third parties, most banks and credit card companies bear the risk and cover all the charges resulting from such fraud or misuse, which may sometimes be subject to a deductible (usually set at EUR 50 (or the equivalent in your local currency)).
Prepayments, Cancellation, No-shows
By making an Activity reservation, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy implying that any travel, including any services and/or products provided by the the Activity Provider.
The general cancellation and no-show policy of each Activity Provider is made available on our Website on the Base Outdoor Activities information pages, during the reservation procedure and in the confirmation email or ticket (if applicable).
Cancellation and prepay policies may vary depending on the segment, product, or service of each Αctivity.
In case you are late or delay to your arrival on the check-in date or even the next day, please make sure to promptly inform your Activity Provider to know when to wait for you and to avoid cancelling (of the reservation) your Activity or charge for non-appearance. Our customer service department can assist you if necessary, by informing the Activity Provider. B.O.A. – Base Outdoor Activities will not be held responsible for any consequences that may result from your late arrival or any cancellation or charged no-show fee by the Activity Provider.
Correspondence and Communication
Upon completion of an Activity reservation, you agree to receive the following emails facilitating our email correspondence:
- an email that may be sent to you soon before the date of your arrival activity, providing you information regarding your destination and further offers (as long as you have been actively chosen to receive such kinds of information) about your reservation and destination,
- an email after your arrival to evaluate the experience acquired from the service of the Activity and its Provider
- an email to be sent to you after your stay kindly inviting you to complete our company’s guest review form
Please read our privacy and cookies policy regarding the ways we can contact you. In order to properly complete and secure your Activity reservation, you should use your valid email address.
We are not responsible or liable (and have no obligation to verify) any incorrect or misspelled email address, or inaccurate or incorrect phone number or credit card number. Any claim or complaint against Base Outdoor Activities –B.O.A. or in respect to the Activity service must be promptly submitted, but in any case within 30 days after the scheduled day of consummation of the product or service (e.g. check out date). Any claim or complaint that is submitted after the 30 days period may be rejected, and the claimant will forfeit the right to any (damage or cost) compensation.
Ranking, Preferred Program, Stars and Guest Reviews
We reserve the right to adjust, reject, or remove reviews at our absolute discretion to the extent it violates our review policy.
The guest review form should be considered as a survey and does not include any (additional commercial) offers, invitations, or incentives of any kind. Base Outdoor Activities is committed to making every effort to ensure the best possible way to control and remove reviews that include obscenities or the mention of an individual’s name or reference to stolen goods.
Base Outdoor Activities will not accept reviews and comments that include:
- Profanity, sexually explicit, hate speech, discriminatory, threats, violence
- Mention of full names, personal attack towards the staff
- Websites, emails, and addresses, phone numbers, credit cards details.
