Free diving is the form of diving, in which the diver dives by holding his breath and immediately returns to the surface to breathe and get pure oxygen.
This way of diving is much simpler, but also more difficult. It isn’t considered as a sport, it’s just a game. In order to engage in free diving, no special training is required. Over the last years, however, there has been a tremendous development in sports, racing, knowledge and techniques around it, with the emergence of schools that help the free diver improve his performance and refine his techniques.
